Height, weight: from 55 to 57 cm; from 25 to 34 kg. Compact stability.

Fur, color: short, firm, dense; no waves or streaks on the paws or tail. Waterproof undercoating. Tail is covered with a compact, thick layer. Black, brown or yellow, single colored, no spots.

Appropriate for: families with children that go out for walks a lot, people that like to spend time with their dog.

Not Appropriate for: sedentary people who like the city or don’t have enough time.

As a member of the family: very friendly with children and easy to educate. Social with other dogs and domestic animals. Relatively good guard. Very devoted.

Breed’s character: isn’t noisy and is unruffled even in a lot of traffic. Brave and very persevering. Good at tracing dogs and as a guide dog.

Common sicknesses: hip problems, hemophilia in some families.

Life expectancy: up to 10 years.
