Dog Breed InformationThe Yorkshire Terrier is a valiant miniature, with beautiful hair; in early times, was known as a "weapon of in the pocket" of the poachers' hunters.Height, weight: The Yorkshire Terrier is up to 23 cm; up to 3.1 kg. Under 2 kg is below the standard. Graceful, compact and well proportioned. Fur, color: long, straight and soft, silky with n o undercoat. It extends like a sheet on it's body. Steel blue from the back of the head to the tail; bright reddish brown on the head, chest and legs, darker on the ears. A ppropriate for: People that want a dog even though they live in a small apartment, and doesn't have inconveniences in dedicating a lot of time to taking care of its hair.Not Appropriate for: people who don't like to carry a dog in their arms.
As a member of the family: pleasant and attentive. May bark a lot. Adaptable, very playful, and therefore a good dog for the children.
Breed's character: isn't afraid of larger dogs. Was raised in the past as a hunting dog to go into burrows and holes.
