Severe Dog Diarrhea: When your dog is suffering from extreme diarrhea one of the most important things is to keep your dog from becoming dehydrated. A dog that has diarrhea loses a lot of water from his body the same way a child does, so it's very important that you give the dog fresh clean water. Don't over do it in the amount of water though; just give the dog small amounts frequently; this is important because giving the dog a lot of water at a time will only cause him to throw up again. And make sure to keep an open eye that the dog does not drink any water from dirty places like puddles, toilets etc.

Dog epileptic fits: Most epileptic fits occur when the dog is resting and not when it is exercising. Even though it is very traumatic for owners to see their dog suffering these fits, the dog itself is actually quite unaware and does not usually experience any sort of pain from these freaky spasms. If an epileptic attack ever occurs inside the house, you should peacefully tell everyone to be calm down, turn off the TV, dim the lights and/or close the curtains. This is suggested to make your dog feel as calm and secure as possible. Keep in mind also that this means that you will also need to control your own emotions and feelings so that you don't pass on any negative vibes onto your dog and cause him to get more nervous.
Dog anal gland infections: A dog's anal glands are the two small sacks bracketing from the anus. If you observe that your dog is continually licking his rectal area or dragging his bottom across the ground, it may mean that the anal glands of the dog are full or infected. Make sure to talk to your veterinarian about how to resolve this problem. Generally, the way to deal with this problem is by emptying out or expressing the anal glands on a frequently basis. A professional groomer or a veterinarian should of course, always do this.

Dog anemia: Anemia is a condition in which there is a lack of red blood cells or of its constituent, hemoglobin. You can check to see if your dog is anemic by observing the color of the interior of the dog's mouth; if the dog's mouth has a red live color, he is healthy, however, you will be able to notice an anemic dog if the color in the interior of his mouth is pale, or almost totally white. Other common symptoms of anemia are weakness, and a lot of panting even when the animal has not done any major exercise. Anemia can be caused by poisons that have anti clotting agents in them (often times seen in rat poison). Another common cause of anemia is poor nutrition, or by incorrect use of medicine (such as giving aspirin to a dog etc.), hemorrhages and internal wounds, internal parasites, infections, tumors, and genetic diseases.
