ELECTRIC FENCE FOR DOGS

ELECTRIC FENCE FOR DOGS

When all your attempts for keeping your dog inside the yard by using a regular type of fence have failed, it is time for you to try an invisible dog electric fence.

The electric dog fences, also known as cattle fences have as a principal purpose, to keep your dog inside your property in a secure way. They assure you to keep your dog in the determined are without worrying about the jumping over, digging under or chewing that normally occur with the regular fences. Besides that, the are pretty easy to install and the fence won't be "noticeable" in your front yard or the designated area. They are also great to keep your dog away from areas such as the pool or you roses garden.

These type of fences work with a collar for the dog, a control and a wired boundary area (but you can also find wireless electric dog fences available).

The way this fence work is the following: The dog will be wearing a collar after you install the fence. Then the dog will go through a learning process of not crossing the fence. First of all, the dog will receive a warning tone when approaching the boundary area; after a couple of seconds, if the dog doesn't back up, then it will receive a soft electrical stimulus that your dog will finally assume as a correction. The dog will relate the electrical stimulus with the action it is performing, this stimulus won't be pleasant for the dog, even when it won't be harmful either and it will keep your dog from performing this action in a very short time.

Some of the types of electric fences we can mention are:

·        Underground Fences.- You will need to dig a little in order to wire the boundary area. They are not too difficult to install and each of these fences should come along with an explicit manual or video of how to install them without a problem.

·        Instant Fening Systems.- They will be ready to used just by plugging a cord.

·        Instant Wireless Dog Fences.- Recommendable for trips, camping and so on because they are portable. They work with batteries and some of them even with solar power.

So no matter which of these fences you choose as the best one for you, always make sure it will be safe, stimulating but nor harmful, easy to use and trusting. Search for a good provider and get all the information you need before installing it.
