Dog kennel buildingThere really is no perfect dog kennel building because every dog and situation is different. Working in a pet shop I have seen and sold many different types of dog kennel buildings and while it is true that there is no perfect dog kennel for everyone, there usually is a perfect one for the individual if they take the time to get exactly what they need. The most basic of need that dog owners have is to keep their dog contained safely and to prevent either their dog from running away or being molested by either wild animals or stray dogs. | | | View our Dog Kennels & Houses |

Since rabies is primarily spread by direct contact with an infected animal the dangers posed to domesticated pets by wild animals and strays is very real especially if you live in an area where there is a lot of wild life. Rabies is not the only infectious disease that dog owners have to be on the look out for either as there are others that your dog could get if it interacts with un-vaccinated stray dogs. A dog kennel building offers that protective barrier around your dog day and night that would be almost impossible to provide with standard garden fencing alone. If you have a dog that is not neutered then keeping it in a kennel is also a very good idea since it is almost impossible to keep a female in heat or a male on the scent of a female locked up inside the yard. If you live in an area where there are skunks be sure to keep any food or waters bowls away from the chain link fencing of the kennel as these can also cause wild animals to be attracted to your dog kennel with undesirable results. |
