Cat Play HouseI found the idea of having a cat play house for my cat a real help. When I have to go out for the day my cat hates being inside as it feels bored, but since I live in the city I can't just let it go loose. One day someone suggested that I get a cat play house. I wasn't sure what kind to get, as I didn't really know what my cat would want to do. I needed something to keep it occupied during the day while I was at work. So I figured that there was not really much reason for me to get a big cat enclosure and play house as not only is my cat small but the amount of time he would spend in there over all didn't really justify the cost in my opinion. My cat already has a nice house inside where he sleeps, eats, etc… The thing was th at my cat was bored being in the house all day and so started destroying my living room furniture, bedroom furniture and finally the curtains. I wasn't really sure what to do, as at first I felt that there wasn't really room inside to build an adequate play area or enclosure. So I opted for a simple and fairly small play area. My cat is happy and content and so am I especially since my furniture is not totally scratched to death every time I come home. One thing, which I do, is trade out my cat's toys every so often. To keep my cat's interest in its toys and play area I also rearrange the play area every so often. This avoids my cat becoming bored with its toys and play area and going back to scratching my furniture. |
