:cry: how to find SAFE cat food? I breed Himalyans I've always used IAMS dry. One of the kittens that I just sold bought SPA SELECT dry and now it's sick and now this food is on the list of recalled food because of RICE PROTEN.

You could try Natura brands: http://www.naturapet.com/brands/ We feed California Natural to our cats and very occasionally our dog. No preservatives or fillers and I haven't heard of a recall yet...probably for that very reason. They have a press release in regards to the recall: http://www.naturapet.com/about-natura/news.asp?id=16 And on their front page, it says:

No products manufactured by Natura Pet Products were implicated in the recent recalls, including the latest recall involving rice protein concentrate.
